Evanston, IL: Rotary International, the world’s original service club organization, announced today that it has selected AmpliVox Sound Systems as its official supplier of sound amplification equipment. AmpliVox will produce specialized lecterns, PA systems and other items for Rotary groups, each bearing the distinctive Rotary seal.
“AmpliVox is delighted to be associated with Rotary International,” said Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO. “The mission of Rotary inspires all of us to accomplish great things in our community, and we look forward to providing Rotary groups with tools that will help promote their positive message.”
From its beginnings in Chicago in 1900, Rotary has grown into a social action organization of over 1.2 million members in 33,000 local groups spread across 200 countries. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. Clubs act autonomously on local humanitarian and educational projects, and also participate in international efforts such as the eradication of polio.
AmpliVox lecterns and equipment will be made available to local Rotary groups throughout the international organization, for use in meetings and special events. Roth sees a perfect fit between his company and Rotary’s purposes. “AmpliVox products make it possible for people to be heard. Rotary speaks up for people in need around the world. “
