Platform-Agnostic, Tablet-Ready Touch Panel With Integrated Control System Features Quad-Core Processor and 7-Inch HD Screen

MORGANVILLE, N.J. -- Aurora Multimedia, a leading innovator and global provider of state-of-the-art A/V technologies, today announced that its QXT-700 7-inch HD control panel is now shipping. The industry's first platform-agnostic, tablet-ready, fully autonomous touch panel with an integrated control system, the QXT-700 boasts a 1280x800 HD screen and 2D/3D graphic accelerator for stunning graphics and naturally responsive GUI performance.

"With its combination of a sleek touchscreen, powerful control system, and simple integration with today's portable electronics in one solution, the QXT-700 is designed to deliver an enhanced user experience that meets presentation and automation needs of a wide range of applications," said Paul Harris, CEO of Aurora Multimedia. "We are excited to be shipping the unit in time for InfoComm 2015, where we invite everyone to stop by our booth to see its capabilities."

Powered by a quad-core processor with a PoE-enabled 1-Gbps LAN port, multiple on-board RS-232/IR/relay ports, and DIO, the QXT-700 is optimized for any conference room, classroom, or hospitality A/V control application.

Designed for easy integration with smartphones and tablets, the platform-agnostic QXT-700 features a built-in Web server for Apple(R), Android(TM), and Microsoft(R) devices -- with no apps or license fees required. A new Android version is in development that will allow users to incorporate Android-based apps from other A/V manufacturers and run them seamlessly within the QXT-700, allowing users to have the best of both worlds with streamlined programming.

The all-in-one control panel features stereo speakers, stereo digital microphones, a light sensor, proximity, and IR learner. The unit mounts onto any surface with a standard two-gang low-voltage box. The QXT-700 ships at an MSRP of $1799 and will be on display at InfoComm 2015 in booth 3059.
