June 7, 2013 Grass Valley, California – Ensemble Designs is introducing another addition to its award winning line of BrightEye NXT Compact routers at the infoComm show in Orlando, June 12-14 at booth number 2253. The new router, the BrightEye NXT 410 Clean HDMI Router instantaneously and cleanly switches between HDMI sources.
“You’ll never see a flash or glitch on the output,” said Mondae Hott, Director of Sales for Ensemble Designs. “Our new Clean HDMI Router solves that issue completely and it’s the only router I’ve seen that delivers a clean-switched HDMI output.”
The new BrightEye NXT 410 Clean HDMI Router has built-in clean and quiet frame syncs which allow glitch-free switching even with asynchronous sources, and a front panel LCD display that shows full motion video of the sources being routed, as well as set-up and diagnostic information. The Ethernet port allows access to full switcher operation and set-up functions from virtually any location.
“A compact router that cleanly switches HDMI, thanks to the on-board frame synchronizers, is clearly a benefit to those facilities that require a clean HDMI feed to projectors and flat panels,” added John Pichitino, Technology Evangelist for Ensemble Designs. “It means that asynchronous sources can be sent to HDMI displays without hits or glitches or black as the display attempts to lock to the input. Combine that with the front panel LCD display that shows full motion video of the sources being routed, and you have a powerful combination for facilities needing to route multiple sources to sensitive HDMI displays.”
The new BrightEye NXT 410 Clean HDMI Router features four HDMI inputs; one HDMI output; two dedicated SDI inputs; two dedicated SDI outputs; one flexible SDI port that can be either an input or output; and an SFP (small format pluggable) port that can be fiber or mini BNC, and either inputs or outputs.
“You can see your HDMI and SDI sources on the front of the router, said Cindy Zuelsdorf, Marketing Czar at Ensemble Designs. “You don’t need an external monitor to see your sources before doing a take. It saves money and it’s so convenient.”
“We are very proud of the reception our BrightEye NXT routers received when we introduced them at NAB,” said David Wood, Chief Design Engineer at Ensemble Designs. “Adding clean routing for HDMI sources is just the next step as we continue to develop leading edge solutions for the event and broadcast industries.”
