IFP Connect 4-port fiber transceivers deliver uncompromised performance for high bandwidth data delivery and for network devices by using a fiber interface instead of the limited capacity of category cable. Now, installations are faster and easier with only one strand of single-mode fiber required from the IFP Connect 8-port fiber network switch along with stranded 18-2 (for power) from the IFP Connect 12V DC power supply, which is located with the network switch at the system head-end.
With the 4-port transceiver, when combined with our 8-port fiber switch, you can deliver 32 RJ-45 network drops in 41% less space than using a standard category-based network. The 4-port transceiver also significantly reduces network complexity and equipment by eliminating the need for local 5-port switches, creating a more stable, reliable network.
