Lectrum's Classy Golf Classic at Pymble GC
Aug. 16, 2022 - Picturesque Pymble Golf Club in northern Sydney recently took receipt of two Classic model Lectrum lecterns. The golf club was a new customer to Lectrum and after queries about colours, fabrics, and pricing were addressed the order was placed. The club settled on a clean black frame and castors, with a sleek charcoal-coloured fabric on the lectern's dress-panel.
Once the club's board members approved the artwork mock-ups, the printing was carried out offsite. Where the majority of orders call for logos and branding to be printed onto high-impact polystyrene — secured to the dress panel with velcro — the club instead chose to have its monogram logo printed in black onto a frosted Crystal-Lite panel. This would then be fastened to the dress panel in a more permanent fashion with covered screws.
"This translucent nameplate is a more expensive option, but the results look very classy," commented Susan Vida, Customer Service, Wilson & Gilkes (Lectrum). The client also added a further PC shelf upgrade to their order. Having this shelf installed beneath the reading surface of the lectern allows for discrete access to laptops and books during presentations. Alternatively, the PC shelf can be folded down for convenient stowage while it's not in use.
The order was finished by Lectrum in the expected lead time, but some nimble freight-wrangling was required to ensure the lecterns were delivered to the client in a timely manner. Their prompt arrival on the Friday guaranteed a seamless crossover with the lecterns previously hired by the club being returned the following Monday. A hole-in-one!
Lectrum lecterns are designed, manufactured, assembled and packed to the highest standards by Australian company Wilson & Gilkes in Moorebank. No supply chain delays.
