The DT/DR-12A4D/4D-2 system incorporates digital encoding technology. This fiber-optic module transmits 4 bi-directional RS-232D data, 12 channels of audio (600 Ohm, Balanced) over one fiber. This is multimode fiber system. Meridians digital product line incorporates plug-in personality signal cards to easily configure a wide variety of module types. The DT/DR-8A4D/4D-2 product is fully compatible with meridians PC based SpectraSmart network management and diagnostic software system. SpectraSmart supervises the operating parameters of the transmission system such as the status on video levels, sync, digital carrier detect, voltages, temperatures, optical levels etc.
