Meridian’s DigiView™ product family will transmit 16 channels of real-time multi-rate SDI/HD-SDI video over one singlemode fiber. Unit consists of two double slot cards: ST/SR-8HD-22 and ST/SR-8HD-23X connected through expansion optical port achieving full CWDM optical wavelength range. Using Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) technology, the content details of each video channel are preserved by real-time transmission of each video channel in a compact card format. These serial digital video transmitters and receivers provide broadcast quality transmission of the industry standard range of digital video data rates. No user adjustments are needed thus ensuring fast deployment and setup with broadcast quality results. Other signal options are available such as bi-directional transmission of SDI/HDSDI as well as 3G video over one singlemode fiber. Up-to 16 Uni-directional or Up-to 8 Bi-directional real-time multi-rate SDI/HD-SDI Video are available in any combination for number of forward and return channels. The ST/SR-16HD-x system is available in 2 (two) standard 2-slot or rack mount cards (4-slots occupied), that can be installed in either Meridian desk/shelf mount chassis or in 19” 3RU racking frames. Suitable for remote broadcast camera links, sporting events, concerts, etc., media feeds, video production, studio to studio/head end feeds, military information displays and video transport systems applications.
