The RIG-8HKOR is designed to carry large camera rigs fully assembled or with minimal dis-assembly of the rig components. The frame is constructed using a lightweight hollow-core plastic surrounded by thick foam padding. The unique flared-top shape was specifically designed to accommodates both the removable wheel system at the bottom (narrow) and large matte boxes or rig handles at the top (wide). The lid can be expanded to fit over tall rig handles. The bottom interior of the case is lined with a soft, anti-skid material that helps keep the rig from sliding inside the case. There are also two (2) tie-down straps that fully secure the camera rig in place during transport. The interior side-walls are lined with the soft-side of Velcro fastener so that porta-brace divider kits (sold separately) can be positioned anywhere inside the case. The case exterior is made using abrasion-resistant 1000-denier Cordura. There is a layer of anti-skid rubber material along the bottom of the case to add an additional level of waterproofing. The rubber material also makes it easier to clean mud and dirt from the bottom of the case.
