Ross Live Season Two – Your Indispensable Guide to Live Production!

Ottawa, Canada, September 29th 2020 – Following an extremely successful first season from May to July this year, Ross is today pleased to announce Ross Live Season Two, kicking-off with a season premiere keynote by CEO David Ross and Jeff Moore, Executive Vice President and CMO, on October 15th 2020.

"The lack of physical events and tradeshows this year has made it all the more important that we stay connected with our partners and customers," notes David Ross. "We may be working from home but we’re still innovating, and we want to share all of the amazing developments we’ve been working on. Ross Live Season Two will enable us to do exactly that."

Starting on October 15th, Ross Live Season Two will run for eight weeks and will consist of a weekly presentation that looks at a specific live production application and considers the kinds of creative, business and technical challenges customers face in each environment. Our Ross presenters will also be joined by customers who will explain their perspective, talk about their priorities, and share their stories. New solution launches and product enhancements will be an integral part of the presentations and will be spread across the season. "We’ve got some big news coming up for customers," hints David Ross. "I think anyone with an interest in production switchers, sports graphics and AV processing should join us on October 15th for a taste of how Ross is yet again challenging conventional thinking."

Each weekly session will be produced using Ross equipment, and will feature the recently launched RPS (Ross Production Services) cloud-based remote production platform that enables remote and home-based talent and guests to participate in a production using any computer and internet browser. "We launched our cloud-based platform during the early stages of the pandemic, and it’s an innovative solution to the challenges of home-working and social distancing," comments EVP Jeff Moore. "Smart, solutions like this show how Ross can support clients and keep their productions running in spite of challenges caused by the pandemic. We look forward to sharing many other examples throughout Ross Live Season Two."
