MODERNIZED DIGITAL SOUND THAT MATCHES EXISTING ARCHITECTURAL STYLE

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church held their first service on the eve of the Feast of the Assumption of Mary on August 14th, 1981. Over the years their parish grew to over 300 families, and in the fall of 1996, they dedicated a newly expanded church to better accommodate their parish. Now, the parish has grown their faith community to over 750 families.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church partnered with ECC to upgrade their Sound System, provide the ability to live stream their services, and match the new system design with the church’s existing architectural design. They needed a solution that was easy to use, and they wanted someone who could help them understand how the technology works.

ECC implemented a solution with programmed presets for the Sound System and the PTZ camera, so the church could easily configure and deploy the system for how they need to use it. One of main goals of the project was to change the audio design from a distributed layout to a direct source with all of the system’s speakers mounted above the alter.

The new upgrades give the church a modernized, Digital Sound Solution for their sanctuary and overflow. The Live Streaming System features a PTZ camera that is controlled with presets on a remote, and it connects to a USB interface that extends to the sound booth’s PC for streaming functionality. The Sound System features five new Coaxial Loudspeakers that reutilize the existing speaker boxes to maintain a cost-effective solution, and they cover the entire sanctuary with clear audio. We also added one Down-Fill Speaker for the alter that serves as a Monitor Speaker, and 17 additional loudspeakers in the corridor. The system is paired with a state-of-the-art Digital Mixing Console that delivers high-resolution audio fidelity.

ECC reutilized a majority of the existing sound equipment to provide a budget-friendly solution, and rewired everything to clean up the sound and retuned the entire system for optimized audio performance. We worked closely with the church to ensure they knew how to operate their new system, and provided on-site support for their first mass using the newly upgraded system.

"ELECTRONIC CONTRACTING WAS OUR FIRST CHOICE IN ASSISTING OUR FACILITY WITH AN UPGRADED SOUND SYSTEM. ECC TOOK TIME TO DETAIL THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT THAT WOULD BEST PERFORM WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF OUR CHURCH. THE FINISHED RESULT IS THAT OUR PARISHIONERS LOVE OUR RENOVATED SYSTEM BECAUSE IT DELIVERS MUSIC AND THE SPOKEN WORD WITH MUCH GREATER CLARITY."
