The FR21A is a self-powered full range loudspeaker system designed for a broad range of live production applications. The FR21A is a two way ported design featuring a premium 12” LF transducer and a 1” exit compression driver coupled to a purpose engineered waveguide. The proprietary passive dividing network ensures a seamless transition between the LF and HF components. The FR21A receives its power from a highly efficient 1kW Class ‘D’ amplifier module. The enclosure is crafted from high grade birch ply and is finished in rugged AcoustiCoate black elastomer. Standard hardware includes rigging track for safe suspension, an industry standard polemount adaptor and recessed handgrips for easy handling. The connector panel offers a balanced line level input terminating in 3 pin XLR with a link thru connection and a Powercon® socket for mains power connection. The transducers are protected by a perforated steel mesh grille, lined with acoustically transparent foam.
