Christie’s New, Advanced Turnkey Visualization Solutions Offer Fast, Smooth Integration for Wealth of Applications

Christie CAVE™ and Christie HoloStage Mini® introduced, underpinned by expanded 3D stereo projector line

I/ITSEC/ORLANDO, FL – (December, 2010) – Christie®, a leader in professional displays and 3D visualization solutions, is pleased to announce the addition of three new turnkey visualization solutions that maximize the latest Christie M Series projectors to achieve outstanding quality and enviable performance in compact, easy-to-integrate packages.
 
The turnkey solutions are a complement to Christie’s existing custom visualization solutions and round out the complete integrated offerings. The Christie CAVE™ is a compact, standard room-sized advanced visualization solution whose iterations combine Christie’s renowned 3-chip DLP® high-resolution stereoscopic projection with motion tracking, interaction capabilities and real-time 3D computer graphics in a complete turnkey solution.

The Christie HoloStage® Mini is a complete turnkey visualization solution that is specifically designed for a compact space with two screen surfaces, a wall and a laminate floor, and features 4.6 megapixels of immersive resolution. Economical, compact and easily deployed, the Christie HoloStage Mini enhances discovery and decision-making while keeping costs low and space requirements in check. 
 
Available as a standard four-sided 8 feet x 8 feet configuration with a 1:1 aspect ratio and 7.7 megapixels or a high-resolution four-sided system measuring 8 feet x 10 feet 6 inches configuration featuring a stunning 14.75 megapixels of immersive content, both Christie CAVEs offer a complete visualization display system. Lightweight for quick installation yet rigid for structural integrity, the design incorporates projection displays, screens, head tracking and interaction technology in one all-inclusive package.
 
The footprint for all of these systems fits into a compact facility. Capable of both active and passive stereo support, the result is visualization with impact - crisp, detailed images, excellent color with brightness uniformity and control capability.
 
The Christie Mirage M Series 3D stereo projection technology is now available in an expanded series of six models that offer a wide spectrum of choice, for the high-performance 3D displays required to meet advanced visualizations needs. Built on the award-winning Christie M Series platform, the projectors come in SXGA+, HD and WUXGA model variants and offer dual image processing power at full 120Hz active stereo, as well as built-in backwards compatibility to replace stacked passive 3D solutions.
