At IBC, MuxLab will showcase its newest distribution and extension solutions supporting displays and sources equipped with DVI or DisplayPort. These new products allow professionals to create scalable, computer-based infrastructures that are capable of delivering high-resolution and 4K video without degradation.
MuxLab’s KVM DVI over IP PoE Extender Kit (model 500771) connects computers systems to an IP network, enabling virtual matrix switching among all connected computers and their remote workstations via DVI and USB connectivity. All equipment can be extended up to 100 meters from the LAN in multiple point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations using CAT5/6 cable. High definition resolutions are delivered in DVI format up to 1080p@60Hz. PoE powers the receiver, which connects to a DVI display and up to four peripherals via a 4-port USB hub, including a keyboard, mouse, printer, drawing pad, storage device or camera. Each receiver can be switched to any transmitter on the network giving the user unprecedented access to multiple workstations.
The new DisplayPort 1×2 Splitter (model 500505) splits one DisplayPort 1.2a signal and delivers two signals simultaneously to two displays. Video resolutions are supported up to 3840x2400@60Hz with up to 7.1 channel audio. Ideal for commercial AV systems and broadcast applications, this splitter can be paired with additional splitters for a greater AV signal distribution.
MuxLab’s DisplayPort 1.2a Fiber Extender Kit (model 500502) transmits uncompressed video resolutions up to 3840x2400@60Hz up to 100 meters using a single strand of multi-mode fiber cable. Transmitter and receiver come in compact metal enclosures that are easy to install for a high quality signal extension.
