THE CANNATA REPORT honored Ricoh at annual awards dinner as 'Best Manufacturer' for second consecutive year

MALVERN, Pa., Oct. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ricoh USA, Inc. today announced it has been named the "Best Manufacturer" of the year for the second consecutive year by THE CANNATA REPORT, published by Marketing Research Consultants LLC.

The award is based on responses to The Cannata Report's 31st Annual Dealer Survey, where dealers provided feedback on which manufacturer they believe offers the best products – everything from desktop devices and MFPs to continuous feed inkjet and digital presses. Previously, Ricoh was recognized as "Best MFP Manufacturer" of the year in 2013 and 2014.

"Ricoh dealers overwhelmingly indicated that their product line particularly in A3 MFP and Production Print was the best," said Frank G. Cannata, President & CEO of Marketing Research Consultants LLC. "It was also by the narrowest of margins that Ricoh did not come out on top for A4 MFP. In all the years we have been conducting this survey no manufacturer has dominated in two of the hardware categories and come in second in the third."

"Receiving this recognition from The Cannata Report for multiple years is a testament that dealers and customers agree with Ricoh's continued focus on delivering innovative products that help to improve workflows – in both the office and production print environments," said Tim Vellek, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Ricoh Americas. "We are proud to accept this recognition, as it is a result of our ongoing commitment to and collaboration with our dealers."

The award was presented at The Cannata Report's 31st Annual Awards and Charities Dinner on October 6 at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston, New Jersey. The Cannata Dinner raised a record $180,000 that will be used to establish The Jackie Ritschel Memorial Endowment for Cancer Research & Treatment at Hackensack University Medical Center and support Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon.
