VITEC to showcase enhanced product range at IBC 2023

PARIS, FRANCE, 4 September 2023 — VITEC will showcase its enhanced streaming solutions at International Broadcast Convention (IBC), at the RAI Amsterdam, 15-18 September. At stand 7.A39, VITEC will demonstrate an array of performance and workflow enhancements for broadcast applications, including VITEC's latest MGW Diamond+ OG broadcast 4K encoder as well as its ChannelLink IP gateway enabling efficient live video contribution for broadcast applications. The latest Emmy-award winning EZ TV version dedicated to IPTV distribution and digital signage will also be demonstrated.

"We're delighted to showcase our latest products at IBC, which are designed to streamline workflows and support broadcast professionals to do more with less," says Bruno Teissier, SVP of Sales, VITEC.

"Visitors will see demonstrations of our updated video streaming, IPTV and digital signage platforms, with new features that fall in line with our principles of productivity, flexibility, security and continually improving user experience."

Designed for easy integration and robust streaming, MGW Diamond+ OG openGear card is suited to a wide range of contribution or point-to-point streaming applications over IP within production studios, broadcast facilities or corporate server rooms.

ChannelLink extends VITEC's video distribution offering by enabling low latency and reliable delivery of IPTV content to remote employees or distant facilities. In line with VITEC's green initiative, ChannelLink now ensures optimal use of the inbound transmission link bandwidth: the new SmartLink feature ensures IP source feeds are requested only when needed, which reduces the overall network traffic and power consumption.

Additionally, VITEC will show the EZ TV and Avedia IPTV and Digital Signage platforms, which enable users to stream live and on-demand content, create and manage digital signage, and distribute TV and in-house content over existing networks. The latest release of the Emmy® award-winning EZ TV Platform, version 8.2, includes a wide range of enhancements across multiple modules, including: Real-time end-point snapshots, providing operators with instant visual feedback of the HDMI output for the EP5 and EP5+; Adding SRT, HEVC, and multi-view video playback in the EZ TV Player Lite HTML5 browser player.

VITEC team members will also be on hand to discuss its GreenPEG initiative to optimise clean, environmentally friendly production standards to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
