The City of Southlake has prioritized safety and communication by upgrading the technology for their City Council Chambers broadcast and streaming, parking garage CCTV system, public safety training auditorium and the municipal courtroom.
The public parking garage uses ultra-HD, multi-lens, IP security cameras with artificial intelligence software that actively monitors activity from 100 cameras efficiently, without the need for a large security staff. The recordings are backed up using over 150TB of storage and supported by an ultra-fast network, with speeds of 1.5 GB.
The City Council Chambers prioritize each council and supporting seats with individual speaker/mic/voting stations. These software-controlled stations can be wired or wireless and provide each station the ability to speak and be clearly heard even inside a space with highly reflective acoustics.
The Public Safety Training Auditorium utilizes video projection augmented with multiple 82” 4K displays to ensure each viewer has a front-row seat. Additional features include a one-touch lecture capture system, auto-tracking camera and touch panel integrated control.
