Federated Hermes was looking to move to Microsoft Teams and freshen up their executive boardroom.
We installed a Logitech TAP system with integrated Extron control. We replaced the glass rear projection screen with an acrylic screen from Screen Innovations. An 11,000 Lumen Barco G62 series projector provides projection for the Screen Innovations Flexglass 119” screen. Four Samsung “The Frame” displays are mounted on the side walls for video reinforcement. When not in use for meetings, the displays rotate artwork mimicking a picture frame. The bezels of the displays are color matched to the wood in the room. Six tabletop microphones from Logitech cover the boardroom table. A Logitech Rally Camera provides the video for the Teams Meetings. Extron programming allows us to provide a one button start mode for the room. The TAP panel is integrated into the room scheduling system at Federated and when participants enter the room, the TAP panel prompts them to join the scheduled meeting, start a new meeting, or present. Any of those choices automatically start the room; which includes switching the art mode off on the Frame displays, starting the Barco projector, and routing the appropriate video to the front and side screens. When the participant leaves the Teams Meeting they are prompted whether they wish to shut the system down, or continue with another meeting or presentation. The Frame displays come on at 7am in artwork mode and shut off at 6pm. A highly capable room with minimalist user interface for control.
