The HD Tester is designed to quickly test standard compliance HDMI cables with Ethernet. It assembles the entire HDMI cable architecture within the hand held box, allowing for 100% conformance. Light in weight, this hand-held tool operates on (2) AA batteries (not included) and will save you time, money and headaches before pre-wiring or retro-fitting future HDMI cables. The HD-TESTER provides you with a quick, easy and accurate continuity analysis for all of your HDMI cables. Cable continuity plus a variety of information are evaluated and given a "pass/fail" grade, displayed by a series of LEDs on the front of the receiver.
