Dec. 7, 2023 - Jason D’Ambra, Winsted’s new Global Market Manager – Process Control, comes to the company via New York, Virginia, Orlando, Birmingham, Paris, and many other places. His professional journey began with Bell South (AT&T) in Charlotte, North Carolina, and took him to various locations throughout his career. He transitioned from sales and account management to sales leadership, navigating mergers and acquisitions in the telecommunication sector. He played a significant role at Honeywell, where he lead critical infrastructure protection for Latin America, the U.S., and Canada. Jason later joined Diversified, where he collaborated extensively with Winsted, laying the foundation for his eventual move to the company.
Jason came to Winsted after noticing the company’s moves in the market and realizing it was undergoing a positive transformation. Since joining in October of 2023, he has taken on the challenge of developing the Process Control vertical, which includes oil and gas, nuclear, automation, manufacturing, food and beverage, pharma, biotech, automotive, and water processing. Leveraging his strong knowledge of process control, Jason aims to establish strategic partnerships within these industries to fuel Winsted’s growth.
Jason is excited about what he sees as an ongoing transformation and new strategic direction at the company.
“Winsted offers the highest quality products and customer service and has a stellar reputation in the marketplace,” he said, noting recent innovations like the game-changing Pinnacle console and a new headquarters. “It makes for an exciting time to be part of the Winsted family.”
Having eventually settled in Houston, Jason enjoys having adventures with his wife of nearly 25 years and watching college football. He also enjoys the opportunity to be close to his adult children. A former Division 1 golfer at the college level, Jason cherishes the goal his son has set of beating his dad in golf, a feat he refuses to relinquish.
