WolfVision, the Austrian high-end Visualizer manufacturer, has been awarded the InfoComm Green AV Award for 2011.
The Green AV Award recognizes people and organizations for implementing environmentally sustainable practices in the manufacturing of products, integration of AV systems, and reduction of waste in the workplace or through similar strategies. The award was presented to WolfVision president Martin Wolf, at the InfoComm 100, in Portland, Oregon, USA, a conference designed to bring together top AV industry leaders.
"Today's sustainability practices are essential to building tomorrow's AV industry" said Randal A. Lemke, Ph.D., Executive Director and CEO, InfoComm International. "InfoComm is pleased to issue the Green AV Award to WolfVision for leading the industry by example."
With its state-of-the-art, award winning 'green' headquarters building, which was completed in 2008, the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certified company has once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental issues. Social and ecological responsibility at WolfVision has always been a core issue. WolfVision is a family-owned company, and a full awareness of subsequent generations and the world that they will live in is an integral part of the company's nature.
