This is the second consecutive year of the Imaging International Workshop, which is endorsed by important colleges and councils, such as the Mexican College of Radiology and Image (Spanish acronym CMRI). Our main objective at the workshop was to demonstrate the importance of imaging studies in clinical diagnosis, showing how our displays facilitate multidisciplinary interaction among physicians from different specialties, which benefits the patients.

We also showed the benefits of color visualization technology and multimodality imaging to know the current status of various pathologies and support an accurate and timely diagnosis. We presented case studies using two Coronis Uniti® displays with an important customer, the Clinical Pathology Unit (Spanish acronym UPC). The head of ultrasound, Dr. José Angel Villalobos who currently works with a Coronis Uniti 12MP, highlighted the importance of working with multimodality stations and thus being able to diagnose the variety of patients who present to an imaging center.

The UPC is a clinical laboratory and radiological office under the direction of Dr. Guillermo Santoscoy. It has 19 branches in the state of Jalisco and is considered a referral site for patients across Jalisco. As a result, it has a broad patient population with diverse imaging needs.
