The ATH-CKS55XBT takes the Solid Bass experience wireless. Featuring Bluetooth® wireless technology along with an in-line mic and controls, the ATH-CKS55XBT lets you answer calls, adjust volume and handle playback (play, pause, fast-forward and rewind) of music and video on compatible smartphones and other portable devices. The headphones remember up to eight devices and automatically connect with the last paired device.
Like the other in-ear Solid Bass models, the ATH-CKS55XBT features Audio-Technica's direct-diaphragm driver design for increased fidelity and dynamic impact. The headphones also incorporate a high-quality headphone amplifier along with Audio-Technica’s innovative Double Air Chamber System, which focuses the natural airflow produced by the driver movement to expand its bass output. The result is expansive, rich bass that doesn’t sacrifice mids and highs.
The ATH-CKS55XBT is equipped with an internal lithium polymer rechargeable battery that provides five hours of continuous use and up to 200 hours in standby mode. A 1.0 m (3.3') USB charging cable is included. The ATH-CKS55XBT also comes with four sizes (XS, S, M, L) of interchangeable silicone eartips to ensure a custom fit, and the unique two-position post on each headphone lets you position the eartips for better sound isolation.
