AXIS T8129 PoE Extender is compatible with all Axis network video products supporting PoE, and it is both IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at compliant. Range depends on the power required, so a 25 watt PTZ dome camera may be located 200 m (656 ft.) away using a single AXIS T8129. Or, the cable length to a regular 5 watt network camera may extend up to 400 m (1312 ft.), by fitting three AXIS T8129 at 100 m (328 ft.) intervals. It offers two female Ethernet ports, which are both configured automatically for link speed, duplex and crossover and the full-rate network throughput is maintained.
