  • These fiber-compatible extenders can be used with multimode or single-mode fiber optic cable.
  • Maximum distance over multimode fiber is 3281 feet (1000 m).
  • Maximum distance over single-mode fiber is 6 miles (10 km).
  • Also available in models compatible with CATx cable.
  • Use ACS2209A-RMK-R2 to mount up to four (4) units in 1U.
  • Modular housings range in size from 2, 4, 6, or 21 ports for transmitter and receiver cards.

  • The compact extenders also work as point-to-point KVM extenders.

  • The DKM HD Video and Peripheral Switching System extenders consist of at least one transmitter module (ACX1T) and one receiver module (ACX1R). The various extenders can be mounted in a modular housing (ACXMODH). The transmitter is connected directly to the source (computer, CPU, signage publisher); the receiver is connected to the console devices (monitor, keyboard, and mouse). Transmitters and receivers communicate with each other through the matrix switch via CATx or fiber optic interconnect cable.
