Sept. 26, 2023 - Bosch is pleased to announce a new software release for PRAESENSA, the IP-based public address and voice alarm system that provides high-quality audio for music or messaging.
The new 1.91 software version comes with full support of the new PRA-SCS Small System Controller.
What is new in the V 1.91 release?
Full support of the new PRA-SCS Small System Controller
Identical to its larger counterpart, the PRA-SCS Small System Controller boasts the same powerful feature set as the PRA-SCL Large System Controller, but at a lower price point with only two restrictions. While also featuring eight external Dante/AES67 input/output channels including encryption and decryption, it is limited to assign a maximum of six amplifiers and does not offer the additional 112 static Dante input channels that are available for the larger controller. The PRA-SCS Small System Controller becomes a compelling choice in all mid-sized installation scenarios where these constraints don't play into the project requirements
With PRAESENSA, the standard in IP-based Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems, we provide a PAVA solution offering unmatched quality, longevity, security, and reliability. Users can download the new release for free, and Bosch will continue to provide regular updates, upgrades, and new product introductions throughout the system's lifetime to keep it up-to-date, future-proof and state-of-the-art. PRAESENSA is released in several phases to address the needs of various verticals and country requirements. Consult with your local Bosch representative for more information.
