An extremely slim, battery-powered wireless keypad for controlling AV system functions. Works with the Zum™ AV Bridge as part of a complete Zum™ commercial room lighting system integrated with a local AV control system. Can be mounted to an electrical box or directly to any flat wall surface.
The Zum™ Battery-Powered Wireless AV Keypad (ZUMMESH-KPAVBATT) is designed to expand the capabilities of a Zum commercial room lighting system to add control of AV and other system functions. It can be added to any room equipped with a Zum AV Bridge (ZUMMESH-AVBRIDGE) and a local AV control system. Models are available with either four or six buttons, which may be ordered with custom button engraving or pre-labeled for basic power, source selection, and volume control. Each button can be assigned to control any system function via the AV control system program (custom commissioning required).
Zum AV keypads afford a clean, consistent appearance for every control on the wall when installed alongside Zum lighting keypads and wall-box dimmers. Their slim design allows for mounting to a standard electrical box, or they can be attached directly to the wall using screws or two-sided adhesive tape. A finished installation requires a decorator-style faceplate.
Zum AV keypads are battery powered and completely wireless. They can operate for five years or more on a single lithium battery (included). Zum Mesh wireless technology affords easy pair and play setup as part of a complete Zum commercial room lighting system.
Note: Zum wireless AV keypads do not control the Zum lighting devices. Instead, they report their button presses to the AV control system via the Zum AV bridge. This allows the button presses to be utilized by the control system program to control any AV system function. Refer to the ZUMMESH-AVBRIDGE spec sheet for additional information.
