10 GigE IP input module for Kaleido-Modular-X multiviewer. With the IP input card (KMX-3901-IN-IP) for Kaleido-Modular-X, this Densité 3 frame-based modular multiviewer can now perform monitoring of SMPTE 2022-6 video-over-IP using dual 10 GigE IP inputs. A single KMX-3901-IN-IP input card allows monitoring of up to six SMPTE 2022-6 sources, and up to four input cards can be bridged to provide monitoring of up to 24 IP video inputs per multiviewer. The multiviewer provides two outputs via HDMI/SDI, as well by 10 GigE SMPTE 2022-6.
- Features dual-network interfaces supporting 10 GigE SFP+ for short and long reach optical, as well as passive cable assemblies
- Low processing delay of 1 frame
- Supports SFP+ for short and long reach optical fiber, as well as 10 GigE copper
- Integrates with GV Convergent SDN control system
- Offers full 1+1 redundant 10 GigE ports for up to 6 IP video inputs (3G/HD/SD)
- Provides dual mosaic IP outputs from KMX-3901-OUT module
- Supports industry standard SMPTE 2022-6 for interoperability
- Fits in Densité 3 frame, which can house any of the Densité 3 line of processing modules
- Scales to up to 32 video over IP inputs per single multiviewer by bridging up to 4 modules together
- Uses Kaleido-Modular-X FlexBridge interconnection to scale the number of inputs, and connect locally or remotely to the output card
- Integrates with the existing Kaleido-Modular-X for SDI and IP source monitoring on the same multiviewer
- Mix and match with KMX-3901-IN-8-D and KMX-3901-IN-16-D SDI modules within same frame (see Kaleido-Modular-X datasheet for more information)
- Works with M3 NVISION router to Kaleido integration cable for SDI inputs
- Applications:
- Perfect multiviewer for the migration to IP infrastructure
- Monitor IP and SDI sources on one monitor
- Small initial investment and size makes this multiviewer perfect for facilities wanting to give IP a try, without giving up their SDI investment
- A great starting point for IP monitoring, which enables a progression to the largest multiviewing application over IP routing backbone infrastructure
