The MSTMDP123DP Mini DisplayPort 1.2 to DisplayPort MST hub converter lets you connect up to three DisplayPort monitors/projectors to a single Mini DisplayPort (1.2) output on your Ultrabook, Laptop, or Desktop computer.
The hub splits a Mini DisplayPort 1.2 output into three separate DisplayPort signals -- enabling your computer for high quality multi-monitor applications such as a video wall, extending your desktop, or mirroring your primary display to additional monitors or projectors.
The MST hub is compatible with Intel® Thunderbolt™, when connected directly to a supporting DisplayPort over Thunderbolt™ I/O port. You can also use DisplayPort video adapters with the MST hub, enabling you to output the additional video signals to HDMI, DVI, or VGA displays.
