About the Pilot School Program
The Huddle Space Collaboration Hub is an educational teamwork tool that fosters a collaborative classroom environment, provides new learning opportunities, and ensures that every student has the chance to participate and share his or her ideas. The Huddle Space does not require any software installation or Internet connection and is compatible with any device, making it the perfect solution for 1:1 and BYOD classrooms.
ELMO developed the Pilot School Program as a way of offering K-12 schools across the country the chance to experience the Huddle Space and discover its impact on classroom learning. The Program is also an opportunity for ELMO to receive valuable feedback from people using our products and to gain insight that we will use for future product development and improvement.
We are looking to onboard thirty (30) new K-12 Pilot Schools by the end of 2017.
How can my school become a Pilot School?
The first step in becoming a Pilot School is to fill out the application form online. The application should be completed by either a teacher who will be using the Huddle Space during the Program’s duration or a member of the school’s administration who will determine how the Huddle Space is used during the Program’s duration. The application asks for basic contact information and details about the school, as well as several open-ended questions that will give us a better understanding of how the Huddle Space will be utilized in the classroom if your school is selected.
We review all applications as they are received and will determine at that point if they are eligible to become a Pilot School or not.
What happens if my school is selected?
If your school is selected, we will set up an introductory phone call to discuss the program with you and determine a timeline for implementation. ELMO will then send you a Huddle Space trial unit that is yours to use however you like for 30 days. The 30 day trial begins on the day the school receives the trial unit. ELMO will provide instructional guides and videos on how to use Huddle Space, and you will have full access to our customer service for any troubleshooting.
About halfway through the program, someone from our Pilot School Program team will reach out to check in and see how the program is going. This helps us ensure that our Pilot Schools are getting the most out of the program. We also ask that Pilot Schools document the Huddle Space being used in the classroom with pictures and/or videos.
What happens when the program ends?
Once the school’s Pilot Program has concluded, Pilot Schools will be given the opportunity to purchase their trial unit for a highly discounted price. Pilot Schools are also eligible for highly discounted pricing of ELMO’s entire product line.
Participating schools are asked to complete an exit survey, which provides us with feedback of your experience. We want to know what kind of impact Huddle Space had in the classroom and the students’ learning experiences. Your feedback may even be featured in a case study or a testimonial on our website or promotional material!
Finally, every participating Pilot School will be automatically entered to win a huge technology bundle at the beginning of 2018 (date TBD).
